Lebanese University promotes Good Health & Wellbeing for the sake of enhancing students' and local community performance. In this sense, the university shares sports facilities with the local community, for instance with local schools or with the general public.Specifically, all facilities in the Lebanese University are access free, the only requirement is a demand addressed to the President of the University. The following demands constitute a series of requests made by the community, which have been accepted by the President with his signature and seal, to access the facilities of the University.

Ghia Mtayrek (Islamic University) and Peter Khoury (American University of Beirut - AUB) won the “Lebanese Universities Cross Country”, organized by the Sports Activity Department at the Lebanese University in cooperation with the Lebanese Federation of University Sport Committee.

The competition, which took place with the participation of about 70 runners from 7 universities and participants from the Internal Security Forces team and a number of clubs, was organized on a track within the Rafik Hariri University Compound – Hadath, starting from the athletics track in the Sports Complex with a distance of 4 Kilometers for females and 6.5 kilometers for males.
For the third year in a row, the Rafic Hariri University Campus made the "World Health Sports Day" festival, which was organized by the Faculties of (General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy) on the third of next April.

This festival was sponsored by the President of the Lebanese University, Professor Fouad Ayoub, under the slogan "Sport for Better Health", and coincides with the celebrations of the annual anniversary of the National University. The program included competitions in tennis, basketball, football, handball, swimming, table tennis, chess, athletics, cross country racing and martial arts.
The Lebanese University won half of the 16 titles in the athletics competition organized by American University of Beirut, under the supervision of the Game Federation. The event aimed to select the teams eligible to participate in “Summer Universiade - Napoli 2019” scheduled in Naples from 3-14 July 2019.

The Lebanese University Chess team won the University Chess Championship “Universities Tournament” with the participation of 12 teams representing 7 universities.

The organization of the tournament was supervised by the Officer in charge of the game at the Universities Federation and Sports Activity at the Lebanese University (Branches 2), international referee Elie Khairallah, and international referee Jacques Badrosian.
The Sports Activity Department of the Lebanese University, in cooperation with the Lebanese Federation of University Sport Committee, organized the “Lebanese Universities Cross Country” on 24 February 2019 at the Rafik Hariri University Compound – Hadath.

Teams from the Department of Physical Education & Sports at the Lebanese University - Faculty of Pedagogy (Branch 2) participated in the “10th Beirut Beirut Unisports Festival” organized by Saint Joseph University. The teams competed in the female basketball competition and the futsal competition, while the sports dance team made several appearances within the program.

The Lebanese Chess University team achieved a new victory, which is its third in the friendly matches it is playing with (ZOOM), under the supervision of the game and sports activity officer in the second branches of the international referee, Elias Khairallah.

The team defeated its counterpart at Notre Dame University - Zouk Mosbeh, with a score of 63-45, and was represented in the match by Ralph Khairallah, Issa Wahba, Muhammad Hammad, Abdul Rahman Iali and Krikor Bazarbajian.
A soccer championship was held at the University facilities, where different teams from other Universities were invited.

The sports campus receives local schools to have their sports practices within the University for free.

Hussein Abdullah won the final of the "tennis" graduates course, which was held starting last November on the stadiums of the Sports Complex in the Rafik Hariri University City - Hadath, under the supervision and leadership of the Sports Activity Officer in the first branches, Youssef Al-Zein.

Coaches Salih Zuaiter (long-distance running and throwing) and Ahmed Hazer (short-distance running and jumping) oversee the preparations of about 50 Lebanese students and the students of the local community, who practice athletics, in preparation for the selection of the elements eligible for annual participation in the scheduled competitions and championships, as well as the competitions organized by the Lebanese Sports Federation for Universities and other universities.

The training is held on the track belonging to the Sports Complex in Prime Minister Rafic Hariri University City - Al Hadath, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting at four in the afternoon.
